HBK Lawyers (Haig B. Kazandjian Lawyers, APC) is committed to making our websites accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our sites and hold ourselves to accepted standards for doing so.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

We consider this site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content may not yet fully meet the standard, and we are working to identify and resolve those areas.

What we have done

Measures we take to support accessibility on this site include:

• Structuring pages with semantic HTML and a logical heading order
• Providing a "skip to main content" link and full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
• Labeling all form fields, and conveying required fields and error messages to assistive technologies rather than by color alone
• Maintaining sufficient color contrast for text
• Building responsive layouts that support text resizing and browser zoom
• Honoring the operating system's "reduced motion" preference
• Providing meaningful alternative text for images

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. It is not designed for versions of browsers older than three releases.
